Facilitate and create a meeting place and environment where leaders of the Allied Fields of the building industry, community leaders, organizations and all levels of government from the Pittsburgh region and throughout the world can pursue a common cause – the revitalization of cities, towns and villages.

Promote collaboration among these groups to foster a favorable business climate geared towards achieving and sustaining competitive economic advantage while building opportunities for sustained innovation and prosperity.

Conduct an annual Symposium, lectures and seminars that provide a learning and educational process relating to the complexities of urban problems.

Provide architecture students at Carnegie Mellon with scholarships, traveling fellowships, equipment and other enhancements that expose them to the unlimited possibilities in the Allied Fields.

Provide assistance and support to the head, faculty and staff of the Carnegie Mellon School of Architecture.
